River Maps: Southern New England

Major stream networks of southern New England, rendered as an urban transit network. I originally called it “Southwest” New England, reasoning that Maine was northeast New England and Vermont/New Hampshire was northwest New England, and therefore Massachusetts/Rhode Island/Connecticut was southwest. However, I was aggressively corrected by friends native to the area and changed it to “southern.”

This map features the following rivers, streams, creeks (etc.): Charles, Housatonic, Shepaug, Naugatuck, Hoosic, Quinnipiac, Connecticut, Farmington, Scantic, Westfield, Deerfield, West, Ashuelot, Millers, Chicopee & Ware, Quaboag & Five Mile, French, Quinebaug, Thames/Shetucket/Willimantic/Middle, Blackstone & Seekonk, Merrimack, Concord, Sudbury, Assabet, Nashua, Beaver, Souhegan.
