Continental Divides (Color Version)

This small print shows some of the major continental divides of North America — the lines that divide up which waters flow to the Pacific, the Atlantic, etc. I’ve finished it off with a coarse halftone pattern and a paper texture, to give it that “old map printed in a book” sort of look. The color scheme sure helps, too.

Eventually, this project inspired me to produce another series of continental divide prints, this time for all the (non-Antarctica) continents, and done up using the cyanotype process.
