River Maps: Nelson River/Lake Winnipeg
This one covers the Nelson River and Lake Winnipeg watershed, which includes the mighty Saskatchewan River. I thought about breaking the Saskatchewan off into its own spread, but couldn’t see much advantage other than being able to name the map after something more recognizable than the Nelson River, which flows through the minimally-populated north.
This map features the following rivers, creeks, forks (etc.): Nelson, Burntwood, Saskatchewan, Battle, Red Deer, Swift Current, Oldman, Bow, Berens, Bloodvein, Winnipeg/Rainy/Seine, English, Assiniboine, Qu’Appelle, Souris, Red & Bois de Sioux, Red Lake, Sheyenne.
