River Maps: North and Central California
Major stream systems of the northern and central portions of California, rendered as an urban transit network. I had originally intended to cover all of California on this map, until I noticed that most of the rivers in the south were quite small compared to those elsewhere in the state, and wouldn’t work well at the scale of the map. I’ll have to get to them another time.
This map features the following rivers, creeks, sloughs (etc.): Sacramento, San Joaquin, Salinas, Kern, Owens, Klamath, Eel, Russian, Trinity, Pit, American, Feather, Mokelumne, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Merced, Kings.
