River Maps: Mississippi River
The Mississippi River system, rendered as an urban transit network. This was the first one I created, as a proof of concept. It amused me enough to go on to make many more. Note that if you’d like a more detailed view of this massive river system, I’ve created several other maps which cover individual sections in detail. Check out my main river maps page to see them all.
This map features the following rivers: Mississippi, Red, Canadian, Arkansas, White, Black, Tennessee & Holston, Ohio, Cumberland, Kentucky, Kanawha & New, Wabash, Scioto, Muskingum & Tuscarawas, Allegheny, Monongahela & Tygart, Missouri, Illinois & Kankakee, Wisconsin, St. Croix, Minnesota, Osage & Marais des Cygnes, Kansas & Republican, Platte, Yellowstone, Bighorn & Wind, James, Cedar & Iowa, Des Moines.
