River Maps: Colorado River
The Colorado River system, rendered as an urban transit network. Here, I first encountered intermittent rivers, and so I depicted them with dashed lines, much as you might see a limited-service route on a transit map.
This map features the following rivers, streams, creeks, washes (etc.): Colorado, Gila, Centennial, Hassayampa, Santa Cruz, San Pedro, Salt, San Simon, Verde, White/Pahranagat/Muddy (Nevada), Meadow Valley, Virgin, Little Colorado, Puerco, San Juan, Chinle, Animas, Dirty Devil & Fremont, Muddy (Utah), Green, White (Utah/Colorado), Yampa, Little Snake, Dolores, Gunnison & Taylor.
